Happy Quarter 2, PACT families! We can’t believe the first quarter is already behind us, and we’re so proud of our students' hard work. Here’s to a strong start to the new quarter!
A quick reminder: daylight saving time ends this Sunday, November 1, so set your clocks back one hour before bed Saturday night. “I forgot to change my clock” won’t earn anyone a late pass on Monday!

Somebody killed the director, and the suspects are Broadway legends. PACT Theatre presents The Sound of Murder, a one-act comedy by Don Zolidis, directed by Brooklyn Riggs.
Two hapless detectives race to crack the case before anyone bursts into song. Could it be Maria? Hamilton? Little Annie? Musical-theatre fans will catch the references, and everyone else will enjoy the chaos.

We're excited to welcome Tanya Reemts to our Elementary Campus family as our new physical education teacher! Many of you may already know Ms. Reemts from PACT’s Secondary Campus, where she has taught physical education since 2025, and we’re thrilled she’s bringing her talents to our younger students.
Ms. Reemts has spent her career helping students of all ages build healthy, active habits, teaching PE and health at Spectrum High School, Elk River School District, Kaleidoscope Charter School, and Saint Andrew Catholic School. She earned a B.S. in Physical Education and Health from Saint Cloud State University, along with her K–12 Physical Education and K–5 Health licenses, and she also holds a B.S. in Kinesiology with a minor in Coaching from the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities and an A.A. from Bemidji State University.
Our students are in wonderful hands, and we know they’ll have a great time learning, moving, and growing with her. When you see Ms. Reemts around campus, please give her a big PACT welcome! She can be reached at t.reemts@pactcharter.org.

To help ensure a safe and efficient process during both arrival and dismissal, please follow these guidelines:
- If you choose to park instead of using the carpool lane at door #3, you must exit your vehicle and walk your student to or from the building via our safety patrol-staffed crosswalks. Also, please do not park in the Allina parking lot. PACT Parking lots and the Northgate Church lot are open to PACT families.
- If you plan to remain in your vehicle, please use only the designated carpool lane.
- Please do not drop off or pick up students at any other doors.
These procedures help keep all students and staff safe. We understand that arrival and dismissal can take a few extra minutes, but when everyone follows the same expectations, traffic flows more smoothly and efficiently.
Thank you for your cooperation and partnership in keeping our campus safe.

November 2-5
PACT is partnering with HOPE 4 Youth for the Out of the Cold Food Drive to support young people experiencing homelessness in our community. Donate to help ensure youth have the resources they need to achieve stability—and keep them “out of the cold” this winter! Students can bring nonperishable food items to their Advisory classrooms from November 2 through 5. The advisory with the most donations earns points in the advisory competition.
Suggested Food Items: Beef jerky or beef sticks, microwave noodle meals, soups, pasta or rice sides, canned or packet chicken or tuna, Hamburger Helper, breakfast items, protein or granola bars, canned fruit or vegetables, snack crackers, chips, fruit snacks, applesauce cups or squeezes, and bottled drinks (water, Gatorade, or juice).
Suggested Hygiene Items: Shampoo, conditioner, lotion, body wash, toothbrushes, toothpaste, hairbrushes, hair ties, and baby wipes.
Let’s make a difference for local youth this season! Questions? Contact Secondary Student Council Advisor Ms. Churchill ( s.churchill@pactcharter.org).

Congratulations to our October PACT Online Students of the Month, Tessa Barlow (Middle School) and Nellie Megega (High School)! This month’s character trait was citizenship, which PACT defines as “being a responsible member of a community.” Both students put that definition into action!
Tessa Barlow (7th grade) demonstrated citizenship by encouraging her teammates on the PACT dance team. By cheering before and after performances, she helps fellow dancers feel supported and confident. Tessa reflected on how meaningful that encouragement has been to her and recognized that even a small gesture can show someone they matter.
Nellie Megega (9th grade) demonstrated citizenship in her Sunday School community by setting up chairs, taking attendance, and collecting payments for an upcoming camp trip. Her organization helped teachers focus on lesson preparation while creating a welcoming environment for arriving students. She also identified ways to continue contributing, including packing snacks and helping with cleanup.
Tessa and Nellie remind us that strong communities grow through everyday acts of encouragement and responsibility. We’re proud of the example they’re setting—congratulations to both!
