Dear Online Campus Families:
With the first quarter ending next week, now is a great time to sit down with your student, celebrate their progress, and check on any work that still needs attention. A short conversation can help students make a plan and feel supported as they finish the quarter.
Start by reviewing grades together in Infinite Campus, then check Schoology for assignment details and teacher feedback. Ask your student, " What’s going well? Is anything missing? Where could you use some help?" If something is unclear, encourage them to email their teacher now so there’s time to work through questions before the quarter ends.
Together, create a manageable plan to address outstanding work while keeping up with current assignments. Help your student prioritize, set small daily goals, and confirm teachers’ deadlines and expectations for late work.
Students are still learning how to manage their time and advocate for themselves. Giving them ownership, along with encouragement and regular check-ins, can help them build those skills.
Let’s finish the first quarter with a clear plan and support along the way!
