Advocate for Charter Schools: Join the MACS Parent & Caregiver Cohort
Hello:
The Minnesota Association of Charter Schools (MACS), which represents charter schools at the Legislature, is starting a Parent and Caregiver Advocacy Cohort this fall.
This year is especially important at the Capitol, and your voice as a parent or caregiver can help make a difference in the push for fair funding for charter schools. This free, three-part virtual series will give you the facts you need, help you connect with your elected officials, and show you how to share your family's story.
Cohort Sessions (virtual)
Monday, October 26, 6:00–7:30 p.m.: Charter Public School Facts 101
Monday, November 9, 6:00–7:30 p.m.: Grassroots Lobbying 101 and Your Story
Monday, November 30, 6:00–8:00 p.m.: Putting It All Together: Advocacy at the Minnesota Legislature
