Authorizing in Minnesota
The Minnesota Department of Education approves charter schools in Minnesota and requires an Authorizer to oversee school operations. Together, these entities monitor the school's performance in both academic and non-academic contract goals. Volunteers of America-Minnesota authorizes PACT Charter School as of July 1, 2022.
About Our Authorizer
Volunteers of America’s charter school authorizing program provides charter schools with the flexibility and freedom to innovate while meeting their students' needs. They ensure their charter schools operate in a manner that fosters high student outcomes by overseeing and promoting the school's health. They aim to help build a culture of excellence by engaging in intelligent, proactive relationships based on transparency, experience, and respect, adding value to the schools they support.
