School Board Meeting Recap

May 7, 2026

Employee of the Month: Emma Hedberg

Congratulations to Emma Hedberg, our April Employee of the Month!

Emma has developed a music program for grades 6 through 12 that is joyful, welcoming, and built on strong relationships. Students grow as musicians and gain confidence and character. The success of our concerts is a direct result of Emma’s leadership.

Beyond the classroom, she leads effectively as department head by listening to students, prioritizing them, and guiding her team professionally.

Emma, thank you for the outstanding program you have built and for the exemplary standard you set. We are sincerely grateful.

Student Leadership Spotlight

Secondary student leaders shared regarding various student leadership programs that have made a positive impact on our school community this year:

  • Student Council organized school-wide events such as pep fests, Homecoming, dances, and competitions, which have strengthened school spirit and fostered connections across grade levels.
  • The Chick-fil-A Leader Academy has enabled students to develop practical leadership skills grounded in empathy, service, and character, in alignment with PACT's core values.
  • DECA has offered students hands-on business experience through competitions at district, state, and national levels, and plans to open a school store in the 2026-27 school year.
  • The National Honor Society has recognized students excelling in academics, leadership, and service, and has organized impactful community projects such as Toys for Tots, blood drives, and Feed My Starving Children.

Collectively, these programs embody the Panther spirit by promoting purposeful leadership and inspiring others to create positive change.

Secondary Student Council Report

Karlie Rice and Averi Pfarr provided a year-end summary review of everything that the Secondary Student Council led this past year. Activities included: Pepfests, Spirit Weeks, advisory games, including a schoolwide game of Rock-Paper-Scissors, and school dances for both middle school and high school. We are grateful to our students who serve on the Student Council, helping make PACT a great place to attend!
