Dear PACT Secondary Families: 

We've had a busy month of March at the Secondary Campus. Here are some highlights:

We were proud to celebrate 25 new inductees into NJHS and NHS. These students were selected through a juried process based on the four pillars: scholarship, service, leadership, and character. Thank you to our NHS chapter advisor, Ms. Christensen, and our student leadership team for organizing this ceremony to honor our new inductees.

Development of the student-run DECA store is underway! Students have completed the initial design phase, and we are now collaborating with architects and builders to finalize plans. The store will serve as an embedded, real-world learning lab, providing students with applied experience in entrepreneurship, finance, and operations. Construction is projected to be completed this summer, with a grand opening planned for the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year. The store will be in one of the media center's conference rooms and accessible from the main hall. We are excited for our students to have access to PACT gear and other supplies that DECA will offer.

The PACT Online program has entered the staffing phase, and we are excited that our very own PACT staff will teach all online classes. We also had the opportunity to present at DAC and share more about our platform and initial curriculum. The proposed platform and curriculum, Accelerate Education, will support the launch of the online campus program. The long-term strategy is to build a scalable online program that mirrors secondary course offerings and core resources.

On May 4 and 5, we will host our Spring Band and Choir concerts.  To plan for the event and ensure all guests have a seat, we will provide students with a limited number of tickets to share with their families and supporters.  We look forward to celebrating our students’ accomplishments this year and enjoying a night of great music!
