Save a Life: Donate Blood!

Join the PACT NHS/NJHS for their upcoming Blood Drive on Monday, October 28, at the Ramsey City Hall Building from Noon to 6:00 p.m. Every donation helps save lives and supports those in need. Make your appointment today at redcrossblood.org or call 1-800-733-2767. Students ages 16-18 will need parental consent – contact Ms. Christensen (a.christensen@pactcharter.org) for a form. Let’s come together and make a difference!

Veterans Day Slideshow Submission

PACT will hold Veterans Day assemblies at each campus. As part of the program, we are creating a slideshow to honor veterans with an immediate family connection to our students or staff. If you would like to include a veteran in the slideshow, please send the following information to Ms. Erntson at news@pactcharter.org no later than Friday, October 31.

  • A photo of the veteran
  • Full name of the veteran
  • The name and grade of the PACT student(s) they are related to
  • The branch of the military in which they serve(d)
  • Where they are/were stationed

If your veteran was included in last year’s slideshow, you don't need to resubmit their information—we will use the previous submission. You can watch the last slideshow here for reference. Questions? Contact Ms. Erntson at news@pactcharter.org

2026-2027 Enrollment Lottery Closes November 1

The 2026-2027 Enrollment Lottery will close on November 1! Current PACT families do not need to reapply – you are “in” until you graduate high school! However, if you have siblings still on the waiting list, you must continue to apply for them each year for the 2026-2027 school year and keep doing so until they receive an enrollment offer. Also, remember to apply for your students not at PACT (especially Kindergarteners!). Questions? Contact Ms. Hatchner (enroll@pactcharter.org).

Halloween at PACT

As Halloween approaches, we want to remind families that students are not permitted to wear costumes during the school day at PACT. Students who come to school in costume will be asked to change into regular clothing. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Student Council Clothing Drive

During November, we feel especially thankful for what we have. We also understand that some families may not have as much as others. The Elementary Student Council is hosting a clothing drive to support those in need. A bin will be available in the office for new and gently used clothing items. Items needed include winter coats, boots, snow pants, hats, gloves, and general clothing. Gas and grocery cards would also be greatly appreciated. Questions? Contact Elementary Student Council Advisor Ashley Solheim (a.solheim@pactcharter.org).

Secondary News

Understanding StudentSquare + Communication Expectations

StudentSquare is a simple, effective communication tool that helps students stay connected with school staff and coaches. Through StudentSquare, students can:
  • Receive messages from teachers and staff via email, text, or the mobile app
  • Communicate directly with teachers and staff
  • Stay informed about school events, extracurricular activities, and class projects

The StudentSquare app is free and available for both Apple iOS and Android devices. If a student doesn’t have a cell phone—no problem! StudentSquare is already linked on PACT Chromebooks, and even if students don’t register their accounts, students will still receive all messages through their PACT email.

Reminder: All Secondary students should check their PACT email DAILY and are responsible for its contents. They are encouraged to ask questions, organize their schedules and assignments, and stay informed about school activities and events. Direct communication with students supports the development of responsibility, integrity, and self-discipline.

Volunteer & Support Opportunities

Get Involved at PACT!

Families are encouraged to complete the PACT Charter School Volunteer Interest Form to share how they can support our school community and help our students thrive. By filling out this short form, you’ll let us know your interests, skills, and availability so we can connect you with meaningful volunteer opportunities throughout the year.

Whether it’s assisting in the classroom, helping at events, or supporting school initiatives, your involvement strengthens the partnership between families, staff, and students—creating a vibrant and connected learning environment for all.

Together, we can make a lasting difference in the lives of our students!

PACT PTO Cash Calendar Fundraiser

Ends October 31
The PTO’s biggest fundraiser of the year is winding down! Each student received a calendar and asked friends and family to sponsor days by filling in each date with a dollar amount. Students should return their calendars and funds on collection days: October 27 and 31.
Weekly donut and snack prizes will be awarded on Wednesday mornings at 7:30 a.m. Students who fill their entire calendar will receive a gift card. Grades 7–11 retain 25% of the funds they raise for their class, and seniors keep 100% for their graduation fund.
All proceeds support students, staff, and school-wide programs. Questions? Email president@pactpantherspto.com.
